Nicole D'Ambrosio

Nicole D'Ambrosio purchased her first piece of real estate at the age of 21 and by 2003 she was running her own commercial real estate brokerage. In 2007, Nicole had the opportunity to compete on The Apprentice and was a finalist, receiving constant praise from Donald Trump.

Nicole began her real estate career specializing in hotels and gas stations. She sold her first distressed asset in 2004 and has since conducted numerous sales via REO, short sale, and note sales. She became a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) in 2008 and started working closely with various banks to sell their distressed assets/notes. Additionally, Nicole has performed numerous multi-million dollar real estate transactions for office buildings, multi-family, land, broken condos and bulk residential.

Nicole has been an Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker for 12 years. She is an active member of Young Real Estate Professionals (YREP) and Real Estate Investment Association (REIA). Nicole graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.A. in Business and has a Real Estate degree from Kishwaukee College.

Lauri Waddell

Lauri Waddell is a successful business woman and investor. She was a stay at home Mom for twenty years, raising three daughters and a son, then re entered the working world in 1999. She was co-founder and president of one of the fastest growing mortgage companies in the Midwest. In just eighteen months her company expanded to five states and was the number one company with several major lenders for the Midwest area. Lauri also was co-founder and president of an escrow company that serviced her customer’s loans. The success of her company led to Lauri being asked to serve as the Iowa Association of Mortgage Brokers president for 2004. During her tenure as president, Lauri worked to pass legislation requiring continuing education and licensure for mortgage brokers and loan originators in Iowa.

In 2002 Lauri became a real estate investor and over the course of a few short months bought close to 100 units. Due to her success in investing, Lauri was inducted into a National International Hall of Fame for real estate investors in 2003. Lauri developed & taught Short Sales from the lender’s perspective. Lauri saw the need for investors to have more efficient management & control over their deals as well as their financing. This led Lauri to developing and teaching a three day workshop on mortgages and financing. This empowers home owners, as well as investors, with their lending choices. In 2004 Lauri partnered with a national lender to put financial control in every property owner’s reach.

Malaika Aaron-Pereira

Malaika is an accomplished real estate investor with a passion for helping other women experience personal and financial success. She believes gaining a financial education is one of the greatest investments we can make in ourselves. For her, financial freedom is not an end in itself, but a means to an end—allowing us to live our dreams, serve others and create a legacy for the future.
